ISR - International Red Sun

Formed on the 23 Jun 1506 following the diplomatic Mar'kashin Accord by former military doctor Ru'tulla Tontolo, the Red Sun was first presented as a military unit doctor unit attached to all Benuhalese armies in order to limit casualty rates. It's current form as an international neutral organization would not come into being until the Civil war that ended with the separation of Yusai from the rest of Benuhal in 1810.

At this time then head of the "mobile doctor corps," Austis Malkeshi, was declared a traitor after a he and a platoon of doctors crossed the battlefield to help treat wounded Separatist forces. Malkeshi argued that all Men were entitled to access to a doctor and it was in the best interest of all Benuhalese to embrace this maxim. Originally his ideals were rebuffed by the ruling elite who saw them as sympathetic and weak.It was not till the wounding of Lt. General O'mplie when Malkeshi once again crossed the line of skirmish in order to save his life, that these ideals started to take root.

At the signing of the peace accords of April 7 1810 the Red Sun was officially given is current form; a nonpartisan group of doctors who's presence on the battlefield would be marked with a red Sun insignia to prevent them from being accidentally targeted. Members were forbidden to carry weapons larger then a dagger on their person at any time (this has been revised to include pistol usage). The killing of any member of the Red Sun would henceforth known as a warcrime and would be punishable by military tribunal.

The Red Sun has only been an international organization since March 16 1830 and since then has seen action from ______ to _______.
